Policy & FAQ  - Sports

*****Read policy before booking*****

  1. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your session. No previews or final images will be delivered until full payment is made — no exceptions.
  2. Time begins at the agreed start time, not when shooting starts. If your session goes past the booked time, the next hourly rate will apply immediately.
  3. Time is billed based on the reserved time slot — not active shooting. This includes setup, gear prep, and any location movement.
  4. If the session is impacted by weather or external factors, rescheduling must be requested within 24 hours. Deposits may be transferred at the photographer’s discretion.
  5. The photographer reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a session with at least 48 hours’ notice in the event of conflict or emergency.
  6. The client is responsible for securing field, court, or team access in advance. If access is restricted or denied on arrival, the session will still be billed in full.
  7. Final edits are delivered within 7–15 business days after full payment and (if applicable) image selection. Rush delivery is available for an additional fee.
  8. You may choose retouching for select images (skin, background, blemishes) or upgrade to a full gallery color grade for $35 — a clean, cohesive look across every photo.
  9. If video is booked, highlight reels are delivered digitally. Raw footage is not included unless purchased separately.
  10. The photographer retains all rights to images for portfolio, marketing, and promotional use. Teams and players are welcome to repost images with credit (e.g., “📸: @shotsbyjscott”).
  11. Commercial use (flyers, team banners, merchandise, etc.) may require a separate license.
  12. Athletes under 18 must have a parent or guardian present at the time of the shoot and complete the booking on their behalf.
  13. If the client is more than 15 minutes late without notice, the session may be canceled and treated as a no-show. No refunds will be issued.
  14. The client is financially responsible for any damage to the photographer’s equipment or personal property during the session.

When is payment due?

A non-refundable deposit is required to book your session. Full payment is due immediately after the shoot — or before I leave for the location if travel is involved. No images or previews will be released until payment is received in ful

What happens if the game runs longer than scheduled?

Your session is billed based on the reserved time. If coverage goes past the booked window, the next hourly rate applies immediately, even if the delay is due to overtime or slow game flow.

What’s the turnaround time for photos?

You’ll receive your final edited images within 7–15 business days after full payment (and image selection, if applicable). Rush delivery (48–72 hrs) is available for an added fee.

Do you offer albums or prints?

Do I need to secure access to the field or event?

Yes — if your venue requires media access, sideline permission, or special credentials, it's the client's responsibility to secure that access ahead of time. I can’t guarantee coverage if entry is denied.

Can I book coverage for multiple games or tournaments?

Absolutely. Multi-game or full-day coverage is available at custom rates. Contact me directly to build a package that fits your schedule and needs.
